Funded by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) this small study creates a simulation model of birth outcomes associated with maternal smoking during pregnancy for middle and low-income countries. The model shows how tobacco prevention efforts will reduce poor maternal and child health outcomes over time and what might happen if tobacco prevention policy were not instituted
