This R21 is co-funded by the National Institutes of Health’s Fogarty International Center (NIH/FIC) and Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health & Human Development (NIH/NICHD). In this study, we seek to develop and evaluate a digital intervention for pregnant adolescents living with HIV in Kenya to increase awareness of stigma and its consequences; improve disclosure self-efficacy and skills; and facilitate family caregivers as social support allies. The ultimate goal of the intervention is to enhance uptake of services for preventing mother-to-child transmission of HIV among pregnant adolescents living with HIV.
