This supplemental study uses a mixed methods approach over a 2-year period to examine three key ethical issues consistent with the objectives of the parent R01: 1) recruitment of adolescents for VMMC; 2) informed parental consent and adolescent assent for VMMC services; and 3) HIV testing and disclosure of results to adolescents during VMMC.
